The cantilevering alfresco dining area of Chow Restaurant has become an icon for Wellington City’s Tory Street.

We worked closely with prominent Herriot + Melhuish: Architecture to design a structure that complimented the existing building while making a statement.

The structure was designed using our cutting edge analysis programs to minimise vibration from foot traffic on the dining area and ensure that customer’s dining experience is not disturbed.

Because of the busy location, we made certain that construction was as slip streamed as possible in order to minimise disruption to the street.
