This is a four-storey house is currently under construction.

The lower two storeys are of masonry and concrete construction, and are all below original ground.

In order to create outdoor living space behind the house it was necessary for the cuts to extend to the foundations of another house. This created a total cut of nearly 8m, where failures could potentially affect a neighbouring house.

The house has a number of cantilevering roof elements and mid-span steps in the concrete slabs and so required very careful design and detailing.
