The apartment building is set into a hill side requiring retaining walls constructed on concrete block that are some 7m high.

The walls also transfer seismic load to the ground in the event of an earthquake.

The remaining structure is steel frames and proprietary concrete floor slabs. The drawings required a high level of accuracy to ensure that there were minimal construction issues.

The building provides accommodation close to educational facilities and the hospital.
