The relative height of the house and the road was such that this car deck towers over the house. Therefore it is prominently in view both when leaving and arriving.

Steel brackets were impractical due to the height of the deck above ground level, but were also undesirable for aesthetic reasons.

Our solution was a steel wire connected to the road-side foundations combined with a wheel-stop. This has minimal aesthetic impact while preserving the life-safety of the car deck’s users.
